FALL SEASON REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN 

This fall, CGSA has moved to USA Softball age classification rules, changing the cutoff date from January 1 to August 31 of the prior year. This shift is aimed at aligning with school grades and creating a more consistent experience for players. CGSA abides by the current USA rules for Fastpitch Softball and this age change was enacted by USA a few years ago. Several local leagues in our area are now adopting the age change. We have added an age calculator to our website to help assist with this change.

Colleyville Girls Softball Association provides competitive opportunities for girls ages 5-16 to play coach pitch and fastpitch softball games. Our recreational leagues are designed to foster the development of strong fundamental skills, safety, sportsmanship and teamwork. We encourage players from all surrounding cities to play with our association at no additional cost. Softball is continuing to grow and gain popularity.

Ten games are scheduled on Saturdays during the fall season. Opening day is Saturday, September 6. Players and coaches are provided with a team jersey before the season begins. The coach will determine colors for pants, socks and belts. Teams are provided with one set of catcher’s gear, practice/game balls and trophies at the end of the season for 1^st place teams in each age group.

Colleyville City Park is the home of Colleyville Girls Softball. Amenities include three playing fields and three batting cages, full concession stand, covered bleachers, covered dugouts, a playground and covered pavilion. The park also features a fishing pond, walking trails and lightning detection system.
